1. Present truth (at any given date) is the knowledge and understanding of the Divine Plan of the Ages including its times and seasons, that has been revealed and made available at that date. 2Peter1:12
2. "Those who cannot discern the truth now due, being blinded by unbelief and worldliness, cannot receive special favors now due. They are not overcomers, and hence are unfit to be the bride of Christ, and to enter into the glorious inheritance of the saints as joint- heirs with Him. Truth, in this age, under the adverse circumstances for its reception, becomes a test of our faithfulness to God', B28. Ephes.4:1; 1Cor.9:27; C215:1
3. "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day", Prov.4:18. 2Peter1:19; A11:2, 21-28; A1886:Foreword??; B21-23,27,28,237; EF:3, 7-9; R5581:12; R5569:1; R5715:last p; R5928;1; R5950,5951
4. In connection with "present truth" being (change??) progressive, all the points made in the 1916 Forewords to the six volumes of "Studies in the Scriptures" had already been made in the "Towers". We have found it interesting to note that one must make over 150 corrections (there are many repetitions) in the six Volumes and Tabernacle Shadows to bring them completely in harmony with those Forewords. We have made the appropriate flags in our personal books and have found them to be a great blessing in our study, and especially so in the preparation of this booklet.
